Can I share my 17yr olds thoughts in case it persuades anyone to vote?

DD2 posted this on her facebook today. I'm very proud of her :

"I've been avoiding the EU debate recently because it is so unbelievably frustrating that I can't vote in it.
So I wanted to say to those of you who can vote, use your vote and use it wisely (even if you are unsure use this opportunity for the sake of those of us who know how we'd vote but can't)."

This is so very much a choice we are making for out children more then us.

Well I'm making it for me too as I hope to be on the planet for at least another 40 years.........

agree shiny but 90+ for me on the optimistic end of my life span :)

I voted for what I believe to be best for the country. Plenty of time for children to make their own decisions when they are adults.

I'll share my 16 year old's insight:

"You should vote remain. Magic Stars say only for sale in the EU on the back of the packet. If we leave then there will be no Magic Stars or they'll be on the overpriced imports shelf in the supermarket and cost loads. I like Magic Stars."

Not sure that's an argument in favour of lowering the voting age.

Need Ha! Thanks, I'll tell her to do her sodding research and to consider looking at some of the more important arguments and be glad she isn't voting (although I wouldn't necessarily disagree with her choice, just hate uninformed propaganda based votes).

I have Leave more than anything else to ensure a happy and democratic future for my children.

I used to be naive and not know what that the anti-democratic creature the EU really was.

I have woken up.
