Farage Speech - People vs Establishment, EU Big Business Cartel

Final Farage cmpaign speech. He says it is the people against the Establishment. He says the Establishment is very, very scared of this vote.

He says that out voters will crawl over broken glass to get to polls, but now we need the undecided, the non-voters, the people who agree with the out voters down the pub or coffee shop.

Farage says he thinks we will win.

It's historic, it's momentous, it is the people vs the Establishment.

The whole world is watching, get out and vote.

Cameron, sweating in a sweater, surrounded by Harriet Harman and John Major.

Spin doctors have fed him the line "together".

"Think of one word that brings it all into one - together"

Essentially, he seems to be saying

We're all in it together, together, all together, all in it together.

What a load of rubbish Claig. The people vs the establishment rhetoric is nothing but a spin line given to the out campaign.

Look who is leading the out campaign, a Eton and Oxford educated former mayor of London, Bullingdon club member and current sitting MP. A president of the Oxford Union who is now Lord Chancellor and a former leader of the Conservatives who whilst work and pensions minister made the lives of the poor much more difficult (along with claiming expenses for under pants and breakfast at the Ritz).

They are backed by newspapers owned by two tax haven owning Billionaire knights of the realm, a non-dom hereditary peer, a billionaire media mogul who prefers London to Brussles because in London people do as he says, and of course another billionaire media mogul dubbed "the pornographer in chief".

Farage himself is a member of the establishment, privately educated MEP etc.

The establishment argument is manipulating people into thinking that things might be different for the ordinary working people after the vote.

They won't.

At least that shows that the entire Establishment is not against the people and that some of them are with the people

But you can't claim its an "establishment vs the people" fight then can you. Its erroneous. Its more, a group with very specialist interests in neo-liberal economics claiming to be of the people vs the majority.

Actually the Times has come out for Remain so if anything you could argue that RM is being quite even handed.

But 2/3 are for exit, one of which is the largest selling newspaper, I think he hedged his bets. The argument still stands.

I don't buy the "people vs the establishment" argument at all, for a starters it was pinched from Trump ( it isn't genuine in his case either).

So Farage is trying to paint businesses, trade unions, scientists, nurses, doctors, artists, musicians, footballers, businesses, workers, universities as "the establishment" because they are opposed to Brexit?

By that definition there's barely anyone left who isn't.
