Fish filleter Tony Blowers, 59, will vote Remain on Thursday.

“When you’re in you know what sort of shit you’re in,” he said.
“You don’t know what sort of shit you’re in when you’re out.”

So is the EU ref all just down to your personality? Is that why entrepreneurs, free-thinkers and offshore fishermen are Leave and bankers, bureaucrats and onshore fish filleters are Remain.

I think it's mainly the rebellious and free thinkers leaving. In the main the risk adverse and compliant are doing as told and staying.

The middle class graduate is tool Inc at their investments and travel opportunities.

The working class are looking at the MC employers benefiting whilst their quality of life has deterioriated and their children struggle to gain a trade. The MC are one telling them what to do and they are in a revolution they are sticking two fingers up to the UC and MC.

Then there are people who realise in or out the economy is fucked. They are looking at things other than economics and immigration and making their decision on other issues.

I think Tony Blowers is wrong. "The shit we're in" - i.e. the current EU - is most definitely not staying the same. The only certainty is much more and much deeper shit.

Huge changes are on the horizon for the EU, the Eurozone collapse, the ongoing migrant crisis, the prospect of more and more poorer countries joining, etc.

The EU has had its ultimate goals and future planned for decades, which unfortunately gives people a false sense of security. It's no surprise the Remain side and big business are repeatedly giving solemn warnings about the unknown, as if it's a bad thing for a country to make its own decisions and laws.

The unknown is a good thing because it means as a country we choose what happens next. If we leave we'll have the freedom to decide our future as we go along, independently, without being weighed down, and without being herded obediently into the corporate future of a federal superstate.

The shit we are in by staying in the EU is like quicksand. If we stay in we'll sink without a trace eventually.
