What can I do with a mountain of used soft toys?

I have a huge black bin bag full of used soft toys that dcs dont use or play with anymore. No one seems to want them so I was wondering if anyone has any ideas of how to either reuse them in some way or knows any charity that could use them.

Thanks x

Donate to local women's refuge?

bigstripeytiger · 18/05/2010 22:49

Charity shop? Thats what I do with our unwanted toys.

Dragonhart · 20/05/2010 20:36

Thanks bigstripytiger, my friend's mum works in a charity shop and she says the soft toys dont really sell. Would hate for them all to be put in the bin.

Lionstar, have just contacted my local woman's aid refuge to see if they are interested. Thanks.

Have you tried Freegle/Freecycle or car booting them? Where do you live? Where I am in Brighton there's a culture of leaving things on the street with a 'please take me' sign.

bigstripeytiger · 24/05/2010 23:03

Oh, I will need to find somewhere else to give ours then.

Maybe someone on eBay could make use of them?

Dalrymps · 30/05/2010 23:06

There's a section on the Preloved website where you can advertise things 'for free'.
