Does anyone know where I can get a Winther Dolphin or Chariot Cougar 2 bike trailer in the UK? I would be interested in a secondhand one of either in good condition or a new one from a supplier, but I am struggling to find either - help please!

They come up on Ebay (eg).
Amba and
Kinetics sell new Chariots in the UK.
Power to the Pedal is supposed to sell the Dolphin -- but I've read about them being hard to get in touch with.
I got my Cougar by importing it from the USA (REI). Even with customs duty + VAT it was about the same as UK price.
Have you thought about a Burley trailer? Very popular and more widely sold than the ones you mentioned.

I brought my Cougar from Walton Street Cycles in Oxford, try ringing them as they only come in a couple of times a year I think, we got them to email us when they had the delivery.

We really like our cougar. We too got it from the States. Though ebay often seem to have them (though hey seem to sell for what you can buy them new).
I know we found a company over here, but I'm not sure now who it was, will ask DH after his lunch.
Found here but not sure abt them/the site

We went with the chariot because of the sturdy frame and the suspension which helps smooth out the bumps for dd. (If you're not going off road i.e. gravel trails, you probably don't have to worry abt suspension.)
