biscuit/ chocolate tins and tubs

i have reused some of the tins/ plstic tubs i have got.
what can i do with the other. I have nowhere to store them. can i take them to charity shops, or somewhere else?

I would have thought tins could go in the recycling box with cans, if you can't think how to re-use.

Freecycle? I would have thought someone would find them useful, if nothing else someone with a workshop for storing screws/nails etc
