Air sourse heat pumps

Air source Heat pumps, any of you got one? Its something we are considering , the house in question has no distributed heating system, just elec rads. It needs something to keep it warmer than it is now, and I'm inclined to go for as cheap to run as possible.

I saw these in the Hockerton Housing Project (well ,on a programme about it) and thought it seemed very interesting. Try emailing [email protected] for more info?

Depending on the size of the house etc, it may be cheaper and just as effective to just insulate better?
