Suitable rear lights for a bike with a child seat?

Hello -

When I bought my bike I bought a rear light to fit to the seat post. I've got two problems with this, though - firstly, I'm pretty short and there isn't much room for it there. Secondly, 95% of my cycling is with DS in his seat at the back. Has anyone found a good way of doing rear lights with a child seat and very little seat post room?

Thanks!

I have my rear light connected on the back forks of the bike. It works fine, I think if I rode more at night or was in in a more built up area then when I had the child seat on I would have also had a 2nd one atttached directly to the seat (by drilling a hole in the seat & bolting it on). Only because its harder for drivers to see a reflective jacket with a childseat in the way.

We put our rear lights high up onto the top and middle of the back of the seat: DH had to do some drilling to get the fitting on.
