Rainsaver diverter - how long is the hose?

We need a water butt, and I'm thinking of getting a rainsaver. The plan is to put the butt between two downpipes (separate roofs) and have two connectors. But it will have to be a little distance from one of the pipes. Does anyone have a rainsaver and can tell me how long the connector is? (see here)

thanks.

Is having two butts an option?

there's not a lot of space for 2 butts, I think. there are two small roofs coming from the side and back of the house. they make a 90 degree angle, a one butt would fit nicely in the corner, just near the veggie patch. another butt = less veggie path, but would save twice the water (and cost twice as much!)

hmm... need to consider carefully
