Hi,
Just wondered if anyone could recommend a good organic skincare range as after reading about the chemicals used in regular products I think that its time for a change!.

Thanks

I use Green People stuff from the health food shop. However, it still annoys me how much is (over)packaged in (not always recyclable) plastic. I don't need a pump action dispenser for my moisturiser - a simple pot will do!

Or look at www.NaturalCollection.com

I like Dr Hauschka best

Neals Yard good

Liz Earle

The josephine Fairly (sp?) and someone else Green Beauty Bible is very good - lots of recs - my library has it, might be worth a look.

Possibly not all organic, but definitely partly, and ethical - Lush.

I used to use Liz Earle cleanser, now I use this one from Akamuti. I'm positively evangelical about it. I use it the Liz Earle way (smooth on, leave for a bit, take off with a muslin soaked in hot water, rinse muslin in cold water and wipe again). I hardly ever need moisturiser as well.

Lush has SLSs in a lot of their soaps and shampoos so not quite as 'natural' as they appear to be.

Burt's Bees shampoo is excellent, as are their lip glosses. The shampoo lasts for ages as it's a big bottle and you don't need much. I wash my hair everyday and I get through a bottle every 5 or 6 months.
