Guilt about putting narrow width children's shoes in charity shop

Both DD and DS have E fitting feet - very narrow and not particularly common.

Anyway, their feet grow quickly so their shoes, whilst worn, are not worn out and I would still be happy for them to wear them if they still fitted. I usually put them in the charity shop because they are not good enough for eBay. But then I think of someone buying them and putting them on their child and them not fitting - the E width will have rubbed off and all you can see on the sole is the length size so they will be way too narrow for the majority of children. I don't shop in charity shops myself due to these "outsize" issues - am 6ft and I always think that people who shop in chartiy shops are a sort of normalish size. I would never be able to get children's shoes in a charity shop for myself as their feet are too skinny so I can't see anyone else looking for E fittings in there either.

What shall I do with them?? - I currently have a pair of black boys shoes size 10.5E and a pair of baby girls pink shoes size 3E. Both have been outgrown but I feel I shouldn't put them in the charity shop.

My local charity shop isn't allowed to sell children's shoes for some reason or t'other.

Could you offer them ffp on here?

F is midrange. E is only one size narrower, not unusual. There may well be parents delighted to find them.

Why don't you just tie on a label clearly stating the size and 'E - narrow fitting'?

I will label them, that's a very good idea.

E is not unusual. They sell them in most shops.

E looks unusual to me from the clarks website-

Not a single trainer in this size is sold in E fittings by Clarks. This also applies to sandals - the narrowest they do is an F.

That's why I feel bad putting them in teh charity shop/

Keep the boxes (if you've got room!) and give them to the charity shop boxed, then the size and width will be obvious.

My friend was just saying today how difficult it is to get E width fittings 2nd hand, that Ebay hardly have any.

I would put them on Ebay or freecycle, people might be very grateful.
