How Green Are My Wellies by Anna Shepard. My friend recommended I buy it - she says it's a blast. Looking for something to inspire me to start making bit more of an effort in the ethics department, but I can't bear being preached at... any other recommendations would be gratefully received.

I recently read Crap at the Environment by Mark Watson, and was totally unimpressed with it, so I recommend scratching it off any virtual list.

Haven't read wellies book, will have to borrow it from library.

i don't like mark watson's book either. he's funny on the radio but his book was a complete non-book. a book that recently made me laugh was pete may's there's a hippo in my cistern

I borrowed 'A book of rubbish ideas' from the library. Was (slightly) amusing, wasn't at all preachy and I just wrote a list of what I thought were things I could realistically do. Some of it was just to stop you buying things. DH is now amused that I seem to keep reusing things before they're recycled!!
