We can't see it unless we are members, paste it will you?

whomovedmychocolate · 18/05/2009 20:42

But no that's not the worst I've seen, I have seen 'wanted a diamond ring for my fiance, must be 2carat white gold, preferably size M'

SallyJayGorce · 18/05/2009 20:43

My dodgey uncle used to 'clear houses' and use pianos for firewood so might not be THAT outrageous.

Clydesdaleclopper · 18/05/2009 20:54

Here it is:

"My hubby has his 40 birthday soon,
As he always dreamed about Grand piano (not upright), I am wondering if you
have one or maybe you know someone who has it and needs space?
Probably any condition will suit him.
I would be happy to collect it."

I would love to know how she plans to 'collect' .... pianos are an absolute bugger to move !

i dunno whomoved, a baby grand could easily be worth more than a diamond ring lol

her poor huisband though. he's always dreamed of having a grand piano.
but no, he'll get a shit baby grand from freecycle that he can't even use lol

Clydesdaleclopper · 18/05/2009 21:02

It is just so magnanimous of her offering to collect. Of course if I had a baby grand to give away I would have been more than delighted to deliver it too!

We have a baby grand, they aren't actually that expensive these days because few people have the room for them.

I'd be well pissed off though if someone landed me something that takes up a good eight foot square of my house because I once mentioned I'd like one, especially if I couldn't play it!

thisisyesterday · 20/05/2009 10:08

well if you're in aberdeen i know someone who'll take it off your hands! lol

i know what you mean about the space. and the fact that she doesn't care what condition it's in. could cost a fair bit getting it up and runinng nicely.
i wonder if he plays

jasper · 20/05/2009 10:16

amazing.

I dislike wanted post that say "can collect"

Of course you will collect if someone is kind enough to give you something!
