I have been using the Ecover laundry products for a while and find they are okay with general laundry but not so good with smelly gym gear or stained products. Is there a better alternative?

And household cleaning products, I've been researching on the web and I am swamped with cleaners/brands etc. What do you guys recommend? I hear good things on here about white vinegar but are branded products better?

Any tips/advice gratefully received.

TIA

I use Simply Pure in laundry which seems to be good.

As far as cleaning, I use bleach in the toilets/bins but try and use bicarb/borax/vinegar for cleaning where possible.

Tescos do a brilliant microfibre cleaning cloths. Think it's value brand?

thanks ilovemydog....
I already use E cloths when I can but like to use something more on the bath/sink for some reason. What ratio do you use on your mixture?

I like Bio-D's washing powder. I also read somewhere that if you put an asprin in your washing it helps get the sweat out. Haven't experimented and can't remember where on earth I saw it! Bio-D also do cleaning products.
