So I buggered up this months budget again and I now realise that I have to be a lot more careful with my money.
I do have a bit of a shopping problem. I think that I'm an emotional shopper. I don't buy designer but I do tend to go over board on sales items, ebay etc and justify myself by saying that the items are cheap. The trouble is I buy more of them. I tend to go a bit nuts at the beginning of the month thus leaving me with nest to nothing at the end. I needf to learn to budget properly.
This month I really needed a wardrobe so I bought a cheap but good one of ebay. This would have been ok but didn't stop shopping.
I have started to use freecycle which I can see being quite addictive and great fun. I am not online so have to use computer at the local library, thus saving a bill. I wouldn't mind going online if I sort my budget out.
How else can I budget effectively and save money yet still have fun and without the feeling of denial? I am hoping to save a little each month despite being on benefits. I am also hoping that my lifestyle makeover will be more environmentally friendly.
