Yes yes YES!!!!
Our local council is building a big massive rubbish sorting recycling thing!!! This means that EVERYTHING can go into the rubbish [except paper I think] and be sorted and recycled.
I am pleased for several reasons:
- Hardly anyone in our little housing estate puts stuff out to recycle but have loads of black bags
- Due to crippled arms washing up is painful. We reckon not washing packaging will save us washing up - hurraha!!!
- Our concrete patch garden will double in size due to less recycling bins [we have 5, is this excessive? Drinks cartons, plastics, glas and tins, paper, card..... and compost]. I will be abelt o have another veggy patch!
Sigh....... I suppose the plant will use more energy.... but still reason 1 has to be worth it!!!!
