Any recommendations for a can/plastic bottle crusher?

Our recycling bags take up loads of space, so I want to get one of those gadgets which will crush down tin cans, plastic bottles and drinks cartons before they go in.

Is anyone out there able to recommend a brand and supplier please? I'm hoping we might be able to ask the council for smaller green bin if we do this - we store the recycling bags in it as well as compostable waste until it's time for collection.

TIA

I got one from an ad in the guardian, it's great. I'm not sure what make it is though.

Sorry just realised how utterly useless my post was

....stating the obvious...but what's wrong with just standing/jumping up & down on the cans, bottles etc to squash them? That's what I do if we are running short of space in the bin. Great game for the little-uns as well! DS loves stamping on boxes, plastic bottles etc

I remember my mum taking both ends of tins then standing on them to minimise volume.

Can you cut down on plastic bottles and cartons?

drinks cartons are seriously eco-damaging. Reusable bottles with drinks in. That's all.

tin cans - remove ends and stamp. Wearing real shoes of course, not ballet slippers or flip flops!
