can u ecyce wrapping paper

like put it in r green box and if u can do u have to mess about taking all the selotape off

Not in our area. Apparently some wrapping paper has nasty dyes in which aren't good in composters, which is where all the waste from our green bin goes.

no we have green boxes which u put like milk bottles cans paper and jars in not the compost ones

oh i dot wanna chuck 2 big black bags full of papae in landfill it seems such waste i'm even onne recycle the carboar so was hoping u could do the papaer

thanks thats site is great don't take it th so seems a real wast what about burning t if iput it on freecycle saying welcome to sme1 who is oing a bonfire ?

I reuse it the following year, especially for gifts within the family. I used masking tape for the wrapping this year, it doesn't look bad at all, imho, and it makes it much easier to burn it after the 2nd time around usage.

Also saves a fortune, we hadn't needed to buy any wrapping paper in years.

We had a reminder through from the council saying that cards and wrapping paper could go in the large green sack so have put all ours out. Lukily we didn't get any of the foil kind.

Am really glad as I used about 60 metres plus what DH used for mine so I dont feel so bad now. All the cardbord from the packaging has gone in there too so very little waste this year.
