JackieNo · 01/12/2008 19:19

Yes - Boots sell them. I just bought one today (keep an eye out for panicky threads on 'how do I get my mooncup out?' )

in manchester you can buy them in a couple of the organic veg shops, for cheaper than elsewhere.

SummatAnNowt · 02/12/2008 16:58

ooh, will pop into Boots then!

I think only the really big boots do them now - our local store stopped about a year ago. I did see one on freecycle recently ...

Am I right in thinking a mooncup is the plastic thing you insert to collect blood whilst on period?
If so, how often do you need to take it out to empty and clean and can you use it if have quite a heavy flow?

Ok. Thanx, have been thinking about it for a while as I really hate towels and haven't been able to 'teach' myself how to use tampons again since ds was born.
Sorry, TMI

Someone told me they were in the 2 for 3 offer at Boots but I cant find them. Where do they put them? I looked in the sanitary products area and nadda.
