I was thinking today when I was washing my hands at work, if we all wiped our hands on our arses (like I do) the planet would be much better off.

"This building uses 1 million paper towels a year"

I was briefly enraged and thought
Why don't they get hand driers?

Then I thought
oh no they use electricity, just as bad

Then I thought
Ah, get the old fashioned towel pully things

Then I thought
Ah no, you have to wash those AND transport them to and from the laundry

Then I thought
Everyone should just shake their hands and wipe them on their arses (which I almost always do).

Who is up for it?

When I say arses clearly I mean dressed ones

I was momentarily thrown by your thread title - thought you were suggesting we should save the planet by wiping our arses on our hands "like I do" (at least she washes them afterwards, thought I!)

I always assumed that a third of the planet's population wipe their arses using only water and their left hand ...
