Borax and pure soap?

Hi, I am starting to try doing green cleaning and can't find borax and pure soap (is this soap flakes?) anywhere locally. I tried the supermarkets and the local health store. I looked online but found a 6.00 delivery charge. Anyone know how you can get these things without paying so much for delivery?

I got mine from Boots. Hope you can get some soon.

Wilkinsons sell them cheap. Would have thought pure soap is soap flakes. Plain old bar of soap is good for a quick go at the wash-hand-basin and bath (and sitting right there ready for you to swipe).

Tesco do both (that's if you don't mind patronising a mega superstore!)
