Am looking to potty train and want to buy a potty from recycled plastic, so far haven't found anything, not even after googling. Do such things exist?

a potty made from plastic will last for years we still have one and my youngest is 12 (good for being sick in)....this makes me think a potty is one of those things that plastic is actually good for- try a car boot sale.

So is there no such thing? I suppose recycling is better than buying new...

absolutely. Because energy would be required to turn old plastic into new potty. Plus energy for transport, etc.

Freecycle?

belgo · 05/09/2008 13:22

just get a second hand one. That's recycling.

Just Found this in my search for a recycled potty

Beco Potty, £9.95

An eco-friendly potty made from bamboo and rice husk materials. When potty training is finished, you can either bury it in the garden, or send to landfill, knowing that it will break down. Available in blue, pink, or natural.

We didn't use one - even more ethical Wink
