Can i put books in my recycling bag?

After 10 car boot sales to raise funds for school PTA,I am now left with a load of tatty books,not fit for the Oxfam bookshop.

Our recycling bag takes paper and cardboard after all

Yes - but it is best to seperate the pages and cardboard cover.

you don't have to separate all the pages! just seperate them from the cover!

I do. I feel very guilty about in on all sorts of levels - but I just chuck them in.
