help! ants' nest in the compost

how do i deal with it? compost bin near back door, don't want ants in the house. boiling water would kill the worms, what can i do?

We had this problem and even though ants are good for compost, I just can't stand them. I read that they don't like it too moist, so I poured half a bucket of water in and they all came running out. I haven't seen huge numbers in their since.
