My home = 0.56 tonnes carbon per year
My applianaces = 1.02 tonnes per year
My travel = 0.88 tonnes per year
Total = 2.46

Target on the website is 1.95 tonnes

OK, just dne it and it's quite high (ALOT higher than yours!!!)

How do you get it so low. I thought I was being good! (I recycle and everything!)

Small insulated home, dont leave appliances plugged in when not in use (nothing on standby, no chargers etc plugged in when not in use)
Few mileage in car, mostly on bus.
Still got a long way to get it down to the target!

OK my results were

1.77- Home
0.81 Appliances
3.67- Travel
6.25 Tonnes

But I blame that on my parents living abroad and I went to see them 4 times last year.. That will stop now that baby no. 2 is coming.....

Oh I dont fly, so that reduces my footprint!

Well no plans to fly anywhere now until Christmas, and then not sure, so will try again in 12 months!!!!

I also use my washing machine alot as I use cotton nappies, so I think that's made a difference.. excuses excuses!

my heating co2 is 1.68 tonnes per year
appliances 1.74 tonnes
my transpot emmissions are 1 tonne

so total of 4.41 tonnes per year- thats shocking i thought i was good!! must try harder
although i feel its not that bad as i live in a flat so have no loft to insulate which is what my recomendations were for home

am confused by my home as i dont have a dishwasher yet it told me to invest in one (i thought that would up my consumption?)
my travel says to walk where possible (we do) and to car share (again do that where possible)

so am confused as to how else to make i smaller- suggestions welcome
