Is there anything eco-friendly that is as good as Harpic 100% Limescale remover??

I've tried white vinegar and various scourers, but nothing seems to be as good as Harpic.
Can anyone come up with some suggestions please - I'm not really happy pouring this chemical down the loo. But it's soooooo effective!

Pumice stone got rid of my limescale - it's a Kim and Aggie tip, doesn't damage the porcelain.

Bio-d toilet cleaner left for half a day to soak preferably with as little water in the bowl as possible. It worked wonders on my loo.

I've never used Harpic, but we use Ecover limescale remover and love it, think it's brilliant.
