Anyone here use a bobike mini? (front child bike seat)

We have one, I love it, DS looks so sweet in it I could eat him - we get huge smiles and waves from everyone we pass.

However occasionally I mistime things, and he just can't stay awake.

At these moments I hate it, I'm really scared because he flops against one of my arms, I can't signal because I have to support him, the weight distribution goes all wrong, and his poor little head and neck go bumpety bumpety.

What should I do? (other than not cycle when he's tired...)

Bobike sell an unlikely-looking thing called a 'sleep roll' - has anyone tried it?

Thank you!

We were given one of those seats by Dutch in-laws but I think they are better on a Dutch style bike with the sweeping handle bars. Otherwise, like you say, you end up too close to the seat and can't manouvere safely. No advice, I'm afraid, but we ended up getting a trailer which feels much safer. Mostly because as they get bigger you don't want all that weight affecting your steering! Hopefully someone else will come along with more practical help!
