Who actually makes electric cars?

Because Smart are advertising one that you can't buy ?

I really would go for one - though I'm not sure they are necessarily better - I wouldn't buy a new one so I might be on a non-starter but I thought I'd try

Er, what's so ethical about electric cars?

[dunce]

KatyMac · 03/05/2008 09:52

Apparently less emmissions (tho' I'm not convinced - there are the emmissions made during manufacture plus during the electric production)

But the Gov thinks they are green ?

Tanfield is a UK based company (I believe, or could be US.... I think UK )

Here

Good share to purchase NOW, if you are into buying and selling!

Wolfgirl · 03/05/2008 10:46

Sorry, not sure what I posted was very helpful if you are wanting to buy one now. Tanfield is in association with a few Car manufactures such as Ford. So maybe approach Ford for more info.

Also, just a bit more info about the company and progress they are making...

Here

oh LOL. Yes, as I said not sure it was of any help, but wanted to point out that this looks the way to go. Biofuels are getting a blasting at the moment, because of it producingt a food shortage....

Electric is for the very near future. Try contacting Ford dealership and see what they have to say.

KatyMac · 03/05/2008 11:20

i kinda need one next week

You could still give Ford a call, you never know they may have something now for you - else as someone else mentioned, SMART cars might be good for you.

KatyMac · 03/05/2008 11:26

Yep I'm looking at Smart

The decision is what colour as my company colours are Dark green/Brown

Which doesn't really work on black or even silver
