Our oil fired combi is on it's last legs.
I have looked at ground source heat exchange pumps. Does anyone have any experience of these?
We have a large log burning stove which we try to keep going all the time, (we have a free supply of logs). This keeps the house warm but we need back up heating and hot water.
We don't have a hot water tank at the moment as we don't have an attic and only limited eaves space.
I have also looked at the wood pellet boilers but they look quite expensive to run.
Any ideas?
