hope you can help me out here as google certainly didn't.

my plastic little caddy from the council has died a death. we use it to put veggy peeling etc for the compost bin. now i want to get a new one, but as it sits on my kitchen counter in full view, i want something that's pretty to look at.

any ideas? or good website i can look at? or have a found a gap in the market?

Try Lakeland. I think they have one in the shape of an apple or something.

Sainsburys have nice little green ones with handle and lid. They were free if you bought some (suposedly compostable but they take too long) liners, but otherwise a couple of pounds.

THey are the same as the ones that came free with our black Dalek composters.

We use the smallest size Brabantia pedal bin. About 20cm diameter and like a mini version of our main bin, wiht a nice tight-fitting lid. Looks good and has an internal liner that you can lift out, to take it all to the compost bin.

There are these white ceramic ones.

Lakeland have that one much cheaper though Policywonk. We have one and it is very good.

thank you all. i am going with smithagains suggestion as i have a teeny little silver bin fromi kea with a plastic inner bin, that has been used to store junk for years, rather than as a proper bin. i shall now use it for the purpose it was intended for.

was tempted by the cream lakeland one, though
