What do you grow flowers in? Share your ideas.

I try to grow plants from seed, so I'm not buying stuff in plastic pots. I also try to take cuttings from shrubs so I can increase plants without buying from shops.
I have a couple of metal tank things (pig boilers I believe for boiling up pig food in the past) painted black which act as big tubs.
