No NEW stuff -- alternative present ideas

OK I think we non-consumers need a thread with ideas for non-consuming presents.

I will kick off with: Seville orange marmalade -- am going to have a go at this as they are about to come into season and I have mountains of empty jars taking up space in my cupboard.

Cookie or muffin mix kit -- I got this idea from Villandry (v. posh London deli) and have seen recipes elsewhere on mn. You get a nice Kilner-type jar, layer the cookie or muffin dry ingredients attractively in the jar, tie on a label with instructions (e.g. add 1 egg and milk) and tie on a wooden spoon or cookie cutter with a nice ribbon.

Bath bombs -- I think these can be homemade, anyone got a good recipe?

A homemade book of baby sitting vouchers. I'd love to get one of those!

yes would have to buy the ingredients but I am allowed to buy food, already have lots of spare jars, wooden spoons and cookie cutters at home.

There was a thread along these lines around Christmas time - there are some ideas on there.
