Veg box - how to manage shopping in addition to

My local farm has just opened up new slots for their veg boxes so I’m going to start using these for fruit and veg. These delivered weekly.
How do people that use veg boxes shop in addition to this - still a weekly supermarket shop or do you try and cut it down? Do you order tins etc in bulk and buy dairy twice a week and cook mostly with the veg and from the pantry? Interested to hear how others manage it. Thanks

We have a local butcher who obviously does raw meat as well as cooked meats, pies and eggs and milkman that does milk, butter, eggs, cream, bread etc so a veg box on top of this would cover a lot of our food needs.

I would then just go to the supermarket or Costco to stock up on things like rice, pasta, tins and cleaning products.

Milk & eggs from the 'milkman', storecupboard stuff & cleaning products in bulk from a bring-your-own-container place every couple of months. Other odds and ends from the supermarket as needed e.g. condiments, tofu, ready meals, biscuits.

I get a weekly supermarket delivery on top of the veg box and any refills I get from the local refill store. My veg box comes on wed and I order my supermarket delivery for Thursday so I can adapt my order to accommodate using up what has been delivered. I also use a milkman for milk and juice.
