Because they are a waste of trees?

Alternatives:

tell the people "happy xmas" to their face

OR
email them

but email uses electricity.

I reuse Christmas cards year after year, and also use them for craft stuff for my kids.

I love xmas cards and can't give them up -- they make the house look so festive. We are doing a mixture of homemade with photos of kids stuck on recycled card, recyling last years, and charity shop printed on recycled card (Oxfam or Woodland Trust). All we get this year will be made into next year's gift tags and cards or recycled via the Woodland trust.

Me I sent one to a mumsnetter and one to my Aunts In NZ .

I am letting my DD make one for her Godmother.

I dont like cards what winds me the most is the ones from neighbours who will walk past you in the street and say nothing all year then send a blardy card at Christmas

Scrooge moi ?
