I bought a Mabu cloth from Waitrose which is made of wood fibre, and it's going on and on. It can go in the washing machine but I haven;t tried it yet.

It still looks just like when I bought it which was several weeks ago now, and hasn;t gone smelly or anything!

Soory obviously meant to post that as an alternative to the bamboo ones. Where did you get them from?

I've got a couple of Mabu cloths and they wash just fine. Never seen a Bamboo one tho'

I bought the bamboo ones from Lakeland with high hopes....agree with you smee, they are AWFUL. And you can't wash them, they just disintegrate.

My Tesco ones have been fab but then I haven't put them through the washing machine. I have soaked them in tea tree oil and lavender though and washed them in pretty hot water and they are still fine.
