Do your best.

Try your hardest

Protect those who need protection such as children and animals.

Try to be part of the solution, not part of the problem.

Respect your eiders

Is what I have so far.

Do your best in any job regardless of what you do because there's always someone who benefits from your job, or even depends on it.

Give respect to those who deserve it (rather than just blanket 'respect your elders'). That said, I've met very very few people who don't deserve respect.

Everything in moderation.

I'm sure I'll think of more.

First, do no harm.

Second - be kind, in speech and action unless this would in itself do more harm than good. Sometimes kindness calls for toughness.

That's about it really. Take each as far as possible - doing no harm to people, animals or the planet. Be kind to people, animals and the planet....

It's a big ask and takes a lot of trying to live up to.

Do no harm. That's about it.
Personally I don't believe that my elders deserve any more or less respect than anyone else.

I often think that they're living in a world that is so dramatically different from the one they were brought up in, and of all they've had to adjust to. And I respect that.

Do no harm to yourself, do no harm to those around you. This includes words and thoughts which sadly are easier to indulge in that physical acts.

Respect. Respect everybody regardless of their differences or particularities.

Always try and put yourself in the other’s shoes before voicing your opinion on them or their situation.

Be honest.

Treat others how you would like to be treated.

I’d also say always give anything you’re doing 100% energy and dedication - do your best. But that goes hand in hand with being honest. If I’m being honest with myself, I can’t do things half-arsed.
