I was going to get some lovely angora socks for my sister's Christmas, but she is very good with being eco friendly and I don't want to give them if it's not an ethically sound product.

well it's certainly sustainable but I suppose it depends how the rabbits are kept whether it's ethical or not. Organic angora maybe?

Alpaca is really nice and you can find lots of websites with "ethical" alpaca out there. Some British made socks with no llamas on are here

i thought angora was the wool from angora goats?

which look like sheep with extra soft wool and 'goat' faces and horns (obviously because they are goats!)
