Whats best ? dishwasher+washing machine on together or seperate?

can't see how it could make a difference, but perhaps i am daft...

no difference I imagine. Both are going to use X amount of water and X amount of electrcity regardless of washing together or seperately.

isn't it best to have them on at night?
