New alternative to freecycle - vskips

I quite like this new site but it doesn't give you a whole heap of info about things - though you can upload more. But if you are into freecycling, might be worth a look.

just joined....will post on how it seems, i use freecycle a lot to give our home a 'spring clean' every month or so!!

Seems to be better for big stuff than freecycle.

Also try www.myskip.com, its colourful and an interesting site. I ve been putting stuff on and resserving items via my phone which is really easy for a mum of three as I dont have time. Its not avaible yet but you can take a picture on your phone and upload your item that way too - I'll be doing it at the bus stop!!

That looks handy. I have given up on freecycle, too many chavs wanting playstations and too many people not collecting!

There's another site where you list things to give away and it's nationwide so you may need to offer to pay for postage on items from the other side of tthe country. It's called efreeko.
