Potatoes from milkman?

Possibly not ethical living, but tis part of my whole ethical shopping kick so it seemed the right place to ask.

I have realised I can't buy spuds at the veg shop unless I make 2 trips (can't get all the veg plus spuds in pushchair), 2 trips means driving there twice (local veg shop is not local ), and seems to be defeating the object a bit.

Anyway, milkman delivers potatoes - any idea how much more expensive they are than normal ones?

We found them very cheap, about the same as the ones you get from a farm shop in 10 or 25 kg bags (so as cheap as any spuds). BUT the one time we ordered them they were awful quality, went soft very fast. Would watch out for that.

Thanks! Have realised it takes 5 days to add the order, so will buy the veg shop ones for this time, and add them for next time, will see how they go after that
