Apple cider vinegar hair rinse - help!

Hi mumsnetters,
Those that use shampoo bars and an apple cider vinegar rinse, how do you stop the spray bottle failing? I've found that the spray bottle just stops working after a while, I'm assuming it's the vinegar?? Which bottles do you use? Do you leave the solution in the bottle or do you decant each time? Any tips welcome!

I use an old bubble bath bottle with a lid which you press one side and it opens up as a sort of spout if that makes sense? I fill it with 50:50 vinegar and water and just refill every couple of weeks
