DH have recently inherited a small property that needs a full overhaul. It's in an off gas area and so I have been looking into air source heat pumps as an option for heating / hot water. This is a long term project!
I think there are various other things we could be doing here, someone mentioned to me we need to think about the property insulation levels before we get a heat pump installed for example. Perhaps solar panels in the future as we will need a new roof also.
Does anyone have a link to somewhere I can find information on this? I am just looking for a guide as to how to make my (future) home more carbon efficient. I have found a couple of articles but they're all from the US so not really that useful.
