Washing at 30 degrees...

Fine, except the 30 cycle on our machine is a delicates cycle and does not spin, so clothes are soaking at end of cycle and I woudl need to put an extra spin cycle on the end iykwim.
Still better than 40 degrees, despite being a longer total cycle?
Also...using eco-balls plus not very hot water...what is a 'green' stain remover to defeat ds's ground in dirt and tomato?

You want soap nuts.

Also see if there is a wool cycle, they tend to be low temp but do spin.
