I need to replace my DS’s water bottles for their packed lunches (as stopped using cartons). Can anyone recommend a good water bottle for kids that aren’t plastic??

place marking
I'm also looking for small bottles (200ml) for lunchbox.
can't be glass.
def no sports top.

We have a good one from Costco, it's plastic but I checked and it's the safe kind, it has a sports type top, but it all comes apart for cleaning, and you can mail order and brush for the straw bit, they're really good and have lasted so well that the first three I bought are scratched up and battered looking. They come in 450ml and 1 litre versions and I've typed all this and can't remember the name of them.

Please don’t shout at me for asking this... what is the safe plastic? I’m a newbie!!

We have a kids kanteen. It's great! They do insulated and non insulated and different tops and colours.

Norfolkenchancemate are you perhaps talking about Contigo kids autoapout bottles? I saw them in Costco a while back.

I bought a couple of these penguin thermos flasks for my DD - hold about 250ml so perfect size for juice or smoothies in her lunchbox. They’re not a bottle too though, they’re like an open cup. But they’re very durable and they keep drinks cold until lunchtime:

Wilko's sell metal ones with a screw top for £5. They are amazing. DH and I spent loads on poncy ones and the Wilko ones are equally as good for keeping the water cool/not leaking. 100% recommend.

Aprinceinapaupersgrave · 31/07/2019 23:28

It's this one.

Justabadwife · 31/07/2019 23:33

@Aprinceinapaupersgrave that's the same as the one dd has (although it was twice the price on amazon 😫) it's been great.
It's easy to clean, and no straw bit to stop working and start leaking 🙄.
I would never buy her a plastic one again.
