Black out blinds

Hello. Recently started night shifts. The daylight is killing me. Anyone knows of good blackout blinds. Thank you x

Gro anywhere blind. Works well for my partner. Originally bought it for our child. We now have 2

Tin foil. Slightly wet the window and stick. Super quick I used it until I found some black out curtains in Dunelm.

We've used the gro ones too - the only annoying thing is having to sucker them up every time you want to use them.

Dunelm do reasonable roller ones that you can cut to size yourself. They keep our rooms dark enough for our very wakey baby to be able to sleep.

I dream of the ones that are kind of built into windows...they are attached on all sides so no light gets in... often found on sloping windows. But I'd love them for all our windows. Sadly we can't afford them though! So dunelm works for us :)

Wooden blinds will let the light in. I know because I am awake early due to mine letting too much light in right now

Blackout roller blinds topped with black out curtains is the best solution I've ever found. Will be ordering some ASAP!

The only thing that will completely block the light will be the ones attached on all 3 sides as PP mentioned, like Bloc Blinds which are blackout lined as well. Otherwise, blinds plus curtains and a pelmet to block light leakage at the top behind the curtain pole.

Or try an eyemask!
