Any recommendations for other brands? I find both the bamboo and recycled WGAC very thin. I tried Cheeky Panda but if memory serves me right it was pretty pricey.

I don't know of any others but I am hoping someone will come along and enlighten both of us.

I bought some cheeky panda from Aldi and I don’t remember it being too expensive.

HastaLaVistaPrint · 08/05/2019 18:54

Cheeky Panda is about 50% more in cost than WGAC, but it’s definitely better quality.

I buy the recycled stuff from Morrisons, but it still comes in plastic. Hoping they change that...

Placemarking as I so wanted to love WGAC (loved just getting a big box and not having to worry etc) but it just disintegrated far too easily (although interestingly my ds with ibs who uses far more loo roll than the rest of the household found it the most gentle he’d ever used, I wish I could by him a smaller quantity to use).

I think WGAC is brilliant! Started using it this time last year and wouldn’t change it. It lasts for ages and also looks lovely in the bathroom . Does the job it’s supposed to too Wink

I saw recently on Amazon they have their own brand called Presto, the toilet paper in that range is recycled.

I've been using Cheeky Panda, haven't tried wgac yet. I may give their trial a go.

I used to use ecoleaf which is recycled paper in biodegradable packaging but amazon seem to have stopped doing the big packs. I have been using the amazon brand presto and it is fine and cheap.

Trewser · 29/12/2019 10:30

Don't all supermarkets stock recycled loo roll? I buy it from tescos!

Gogreener · 26/03/2020 10:53

I've stopped using paper when I pee, I just use a flannel (you could use any kind of absorbent cloth) and wash it immediately afterwards when I wash my hands.
