Febreeze/room spray replacement.

I'd like to make up something to use instead of febreeze to give rooms a nice smell and a freshen up. I do open the windows, but with 4 kids and dog things still sometimes get a bit stale..

What can I mix up in a spray bottle that smells nice? I have no idea about essential oils and carrier oils etc.

I use a burner (one with a tea light under it) with orange essential oil because I like it the scent. I put water in the little bowl and a few drops of oil in it. You can put it in a spray bottle, shake it up and spray it round or drop in onto a handkerchief and pop it on a radiator. Just whatever smells you like. I like citrus ones and lavender. Rosemary smells quite clean to me so I sometimes use that too.
