Donating household linen items

Hello, I have about thirty cotton towels and six bed linen sets in excellent condition but just no longer needed. There is a textiles recycling facility near me but I am wondering is there anywhere else they could be used? I am in North London and happy to deliver them.

Thank you.

I know most animal shelters welcome towels.

Charity shops take bed linen sets IME

Probably towels too, in good condition, but if not then yes, animal shelters.

HollowTalk · 06/02/2019 10:28

I think charity shops would take them, OP.

Animal shelters! That's a great idea. Some the charities I had looked up and specifically mentioned that they don't take these items.
Thank you all!

Charity shops won’t take actual duvets or pillows, but bed linen sets should be ok? I’ve donated & bought!

Try Salvation Army particularly, as they also supply furnishings for people in crisis situations.
