I need something waterproof but find anything that comes over my ankles too restrictive.
Ideally, I would like something fairly traded (or non-exploitative), environmentally sound, and if possible, leather-free. Or recycled...

don't know what they are called but what about those cut off slip on welly things you get in garden centres.....

Mmm...I don't know. I do a lot of walking and suspect they wouldn't be comfy enough.

No, not yet. But we have had two days of sunshine

I dunno. Even if money wasn't an issue, I have a lot of criteria when buying anything, and shoes have to be comfortable as well!
