Only if you live in London

southeastastra · 21/06/2007 19:16

is still light then isn't it?

musicianswidowAKAmumofmonsters · 21/06/2007 19:17

we didn't have our lights on at 9 y'day so would make no difference!

Not that i live in london mind you

fryalot · 21/06/2007 19:19

well, we have lost power twice in the last couple of days, so am keeping my lights on to make up for the cup of tea I couldn't have yesterday morning, and the programme that I missed the end of tonight, and the quick fix I needed to do on dd1's school trousers but couldn't

so there.

MaureenMLove · 21/06/2007 19:28

I am in London, so I guess I'll do it then, but you're right its mid summers day, I won't need the lights on at 9 anyway!!

a bit daft doing it on the longest day isn't it, there have been no lights on our house this week at 9pm .

Curmudgeonlett · 21/06/2007 19:31

What just when House is on?

Are they mad?

Has the world gone mad?

Or are we allowed to watch tv in the dark?

RubberDuck · 21/06/2007 19:31

"Lights Out London takes place between 9 and 10 pm tonight, so remember to switch off all your lights and non-essential appliances!"

"All that's left to do now is switch off tonight between 9 and 10pm. Remember to tune in to Capital 95.8 tonight too."

So the radio is an essential appliance now, is it? Or will everyone be using a wind up one?

Curmudgeonlett · 21/06/2007 19:35

at 9pm on a Thursday night the television is an essential equipment

RubberDuck · 21/06/2007 19:36

Hehehe
